The real difference is who makes the story. Quinn and Dipsea are catalogs made by people: creators, writers and voice actors. Nodera writes a new story each time, around you, and an AI voice reads it. You trade a human performance for a story that is about you.

Quinn says it was created by women, and Dipsea says its stories are by women. Nodera does not say that, because it is not true here: an AI model writes every story and AI voices read them.
What does a story written for you mean?
Nothing is picked from a shelf. You make a few choices and the story is written that minute, around them.

Slow burn, he falls first, possessive, forbidden, enemies to lovers or praise.
Pick how hot
Sweet, a little heat, steamy or explicit. The last two are only for adults who confirm they are 18 or older.
Say who is listening
A woman, a man or someone nonbinary, and your name if you want to hear it. He tells the story in first person, to you.
A story from the quick builder is 5 minutes long. When it ends you can keep it going with a next part, or talk to him in a chat where he remembers you. Every man is on the romance audio page with a preview of his voice.
Human voices or AI voices: what should you expect?
AI voices, said plainly. Nodera's stories are written by an AI model and read by natural sounding AI voices, some American and some British. Each man keeps the same voice every time, and you can hear forty seconds of his story before you sign up.
An AI voice will not act a scene the way a trained voice actor does. What it can do is say your name, follow the choices you made a minute ago, and carry on tomorrow where you left off. If you want longer personal stories and do not mind paying per story, hearr.me offers lengths of 22 minutes and more, in English or German.

In steamy and explicit stories you can also say who leads: him, you, or both of you. Every story is consensual and every character is a fictional adult. Some things are never written, at any heat: anything sexual involving minors, sexual violence, and real people. The full rules.
Are there sapphic stories?
Yes. Pick Her instead of Him and the story is told by a woman, in first person, to you. The leading women include a soft butch mechanic, your best friend of six years, an older woman who runs a private club in Berlin, a winter queen, the architect who hired you away, a vampire countess and your hockey rival. Each one is an adult with her own voice. Meet them.
Is it private?
Your stories and chats are yours. Nodera does not sell personal information or use advertising cookies, and there is nothing to pay during the beta, so nothing appears on a card statement. Your story choices and chats are sent to AI model providers, which write the replies, and you can delete a chat or your whole account at any time. How privacy works.

Is Nodera really free?
Yes, during the beta. Your first 5 minute story is free, every account gets 500 credits a day, and a 5 minute story costs 250 credits after that. There is no card and no paid plan.
Are Nodera's stories written by women?
No. An AI model writes every story and an AI voice reads it, around the choices you make. Quinn and Dipsea say their stories are made by women, so if that matters most to you, they are the better pick.
Can I hear a story before I sign up?
Yes. Every leading man has a forty second preview you can play without an account. Your own story starts after a short sign up, and your first 5 minute story is free.
How long is a story?
5 minutes from the quick builder, or 10 from the full story builder. When it ends you can keep it going with a next part, or talk to him.
Is there an app to download?
No. Nodera is a web app: it works in your phone's browser and you can add it to your home screen. It is not in the App Store or Google Play.
Who is it for?
Adults 18 and over. Age is confirmed by your own declaration when you first open the app, every character is a fictional adult, and every story is consensual.
