Is PolyBuzz still on the iPhone App Store?
No. PolyBuzz's iPhone app was in the App Store on the evening of October 14, 2026 and gone the next morning in the US, the UK, Canada and Australia, according to CompanionHunt, which later found it missing in all 17 countries it checked. Apple's store still had no listing for it when we looked on November 5. Neither PolyBuzz nor Apple has said why.
The rest of PolyBuzz still works. The Android app is on Google Play, rated Mature 17+ and last updated October 26, 2026, and the website at polybuzz.ai opens in Safari with the same login. If you pay through Apple, you manage or cancel the plan in the Settings app: tap your name, then Subscriptions.
Watch out for lookalikes
Searching the App Store for PolyBuzz now shows an app called PollyBuzz. It comes from a different developer, so your PolyBuzz account and chats are not there. Use polybuzz.ai in Safari instead.
How many ads does PolyBuzz show?
Quite a few on the free plan. PolyBuzz is free to use, and its Google Play listing says it contains ads. Reviewers describe an ad every handful of messages in the app, and in September 2026 one reviewer found ads on almost every screen of the website, including full screen ones. The Basic and Premium memberships remove them, according to PolyBuzz's FAQ.
Nodera shows no ads at all. Your free credits arrive every day without watching anything, and nothing is placed between you and a reply.
How much does PolyBuzz remember?
Less on the free plan. PolyBuzz's FAQ says its memory is "technically limited", so characters may forget earlier conversations, and that the Basic and Premium memberships add stronger memory chat models. One review puts free memory at about the last 30 messages and Premium at about 100, and a feature called Permanent Memory is part of the top Ultimate plan.
On Nodera, memory is not an upgrade: every account gets the same. Characters remember your name, what you told them and the moments that mattered, from one day to the next, on every device. Up to the last 16 messages go word for word with every reply, and older moments are saved as memories they recall when they matter. Each chat keeps its own memory, so a new chat with the same character starts fresh.
No memory is perfect, ours included. A saved moment comes back when it seems to matter, not every time. You can delete a chat (its messages and memories go with it), wipe your chat history from the cloud, or delete your whole account at any time.
What does PolyBuzz cost?
Chat is free, and three plans add more. Reviews that checked prices in September and October 2026 list $9.90 a month for Standard (called Basic on the web), $19.90 for Premium and $29.90 for Ultimate, or $99, $199 and $299 a year on the web. Coins are sold separately, from $2.49, and pay for extras such as longer voice chats and rerolled replies. Prices vary by store and region.
Nodera has no plans to compare during the beta: everything runs on the free daily credits. A message costs 5 credits, a picture 5, a 5 second animated clip 25 and a 10 minute audio story 500, out of 500 a day.

Should you pick PolyBuzz or Nodera?
PolyBuzz is the better pick if
- You want the biggest library you can find: PolyBuzz says it has over 20 million characters.
- You want to upload character cards or JSON files from other platforms. Nodera cannot import yet.
- You want free image generation on the web and an Android app from the store.
- You do not mind ads, or you already pay for a plan.
Nodera is the better pick if
- You want no ads and no plan to unlock memory.
- You want a clear free allowance: 500 credits a day, no card.
- You want romance and mature roleplay with adult characters, within clear safety rules.
- You want pictures that unlock as you grow closer, and audio stories told in the character's voice.
Nodera's limits, so you can decide with them in mind: PolyBuzz calls its free chat unlimited, while Nodera's free credits cover about 100 messages a day, with no plan to buy more during the beta. Hearing a reply costs 5 credits a listen, and character cards cannot be imported yet. It is a beta and a web app only, with no voice calls, and your age is self declared at a gate.
Questions people ask
Why did PolyBuzz leave the App Store?
Nobody has said. PolyBuzz and Apple have made no statement, and from outside a removal by Apple and a withdrawal by the developer look the same. Some sites link it to stricter App Store rules for AI apps that Apple published on October 16, 2026, but that is a guess, not a confirmed reason.
Can I still use PolyBuzz on my iPhone?
Yes, in the browser. Open polybuzz.ai in Safari and sign in with the same account. Whether an already installed copy of the app keeps working has not been confirmed.
Is PolyBuzz free?
Chat is free with ads. Paid plans from $9.90 a month remove the ads and add stronger memory models, and coins for extras are sold separately, as of reviews from September and October 2026.
Can I bring my PolyBuzz characters to Nodera?
Not automatically. Nodera cannot import from PolyBuzz or read character cards yet, and a "bring your character" importer is being built. Until then, you can recreate a character you made in minutes, with ChatGPT or another AI.
Does Nodera have ads?
No. Nodera shows no ads, and it is free during the beta: 500 credits a day, about 100 messages, with no card.
Is Nodera for adults only?
Yes, 18 and over only. Once you confirm you are 18 or older, romance and mature roleplay with adult characters marked 18+ are allowed, within our safety rules. The 18+ content setting comes on when you confirm, and you can turn it off in Settings.
