What does she remember about me?

She remembers what you tell her. After every reply, Nodera picks out the things you said about yourself and saves them, each one backed by a quote from your own message.

The details of your life: your name, where you live, your work, your age, the names of your family and pets, your favorites.
What you like and do not like, and the boundaries you set with her.
Promises you make, and things that happened that you tell her about.
The conversation itself: your most recent messages, up to the last 16, word for word.
Where you two stand: your relationship level, from 0 to 10.

Her own story is written by her creator and opens up level by level, so it stays the same every time you come back.

How does her memory work?

Think of it as layers. The newest messages are read in full, saved memories are pulled in when the topic comes up, and a short outline keeps track of very long chats.

This runs after her reply, so it does not hold the reply up, and it is retried in the background if a service is busy.

What can she forget?

Some things, and you should know which before you get attached. These are the limits as of November 2026.

Older facts can drop out of a reply. Only the 6 newest facts about you reach each reply, so an old detail may not come up even when it fits.
The middle of a long chat. Messages older than the last 16 that were not saved as memories are not read again. The outline keeps the topics, not the exact story.
Things she made up about herself. Only what you say is saved. If she improvises a detail about her day, she may tell it differently later.
A new chat starts fresh. Starting a new chat with the same character begins without memories of the other one. The old chat stays in Past chats with its own memories and level, and you can go back to it.
Each persona has its own story. If you chat as a different persona, she gets to know that persona separately.
Group rooms have no memory. Rooms read the recent room conversation only. Memories and levels live in one to one chats.
Rewind means she forgets. Rewinding a chat removes what happened in those turns from her memory too.

Can I see, edit or delete what she remembers?

Not one memory at a time yet. There is no screen today that lists her memories for you to read or edit. You can still control what she keeps:

Rewind to an earlier message. The turns after it, and what she learned in them, are removed.
Start a new chat. She starts fresh, and the old chat waits in Past chats.
Delete a past chat. Its messages and memories are removed for good.
Turn off syncing in Settings, Privacy, Character relationships, if you want memories to stay on one device.
Delete your account in Settings to permanently remove your account and private data.

Will she remember me on my phone and my laptop?

Yes, when you are signed in. Memories, your relationship level and how she has grown follow you to every device where you use app.nodera.ai. Syncing is on by default, and your relationship level is kept on the server, so it is the same everywhere.

How do relationship levels work?

Every message can move you closer or further apart, and your level runs from 0 to 10. Higher levels change how she treats you and unlock more of her story and her pictures.

Points come from how the conversation goes. A message that brings you closer adds points, one that pushes her away takes some, and most are scored as neutral. Talking on a new day and keeping a streak add a little more.
Each level has its own tone and limits, written by her creator, from guarded at the start to open near the top. Some creators make her open up fast, others write a slow burn.
She reveals more as you go. Her history and her private truths unlock at the levels her creator chose.
Pictures in her gallery unlock by level, and once unlocked they stay unlocked, even if a bad stretch costs you a level.
Levels can go down, but only one at a time, and points never drop below zero.
A new chat starts at level 0. The old chat keeps its own level and pictures.

How does Nodera's memory compare with Character.AI, Replika, Kindroid and Nomi?

No. She reads up to your last 16 messages word for word and recalls saved memories when they fit, but only the 6 newest facts about you and up to 4 past events reach each reply. Older details can fade.

How many messages does she remember word for word?

Up to the last 16, and fewer when the messages are very long. What you shared in older messages lives on as saved memories and, in long chats, as a short outline of the topics and the scene.

Will she remember me if I switch phones?

Yes. Sign in with the same account and her memories, your relationship level and how she has grown are there. Syncing is on by default and can be turned off in Settings.

Can I make her forget something?

Yes, in a few ways. Rewind to before the moment and she forgets those turns, start a new chat so she starts fresh, or delete a past chat to remove its messages and memories for good. There is no screen to edit single memories yet.

Does memory cost extra?

No. Memory is part of every message, which costs 5 credits. Every account gets 500 free credits a day during the beta, about 100 messages, with no card.

Does she remember me in group rooms?

No. Rooms read the recent room conversation, but memories and levels belong to your one to one chats, and a room does not change them.

Do my levels or memories from Character.AI carry over?

No. Nothing moves from another app. You can recreate a character you made in minutes, and she gets to know you from your first message on Nodera.
